View Hospital, Christchurch,
aged 79. Cherished husband of Jackie. Loved father of Andrew, Scott and Grant. Father-in-law of Denyse, Maylyn and Vicki. Loved grandfather of Tom, Daniel, Isabella, Madeline, Samuel, Caleb and Jared. Elder son of the late Gerald and Thelma. A respected teacher who will be remembered by many. Ken was a man of positive flair and utter sincerity. My wife and I knew Ken in the 1990s when we were all on staff together at Linwood HS/College. We were all part of the Friday after school tennis group. Ken's death saddens us all.
