Kenneth HENDERSON Obituary

To the dear family of Ken. My brother Julian Storey, was friends with Ken, and went to school with Ken in Christchurch. He also stayed with him at his family home in Waitaria Bay. My mother and my two sisters and I were very fond of him. We are saddened for your loss. We send our love and condolences.

Very sad news to hear. I shot alongside Ken in the F Class shooting scene here in NZ. He was a top competitor and was mostly totally dominant at every shoot he went to. RIP mate. Regards Rob Kerridge.

Dear Peter and ROsalie your loss is too terrible to imagine - our hearts are all bleeding for you.
I have so many memories of Ken, starting when he began at Waitaria school as a bright bouncy little 5 year old - during his first week we were startled by a little voice saying "I's Hooked" we looked up and saw young Ken hanging by his shirt at the corner cupboard - he had gone to the art cupboard and slipped and his shirt got caught on a large nail protruding from the door - most kids would have cried but not Ken - he was a beautiful brave, strong young man.
I am utterly stunned and shocked for you I have many beautiful memories of him as a kid. I am so so sorry .Very much love , anna

To Ruth and family, I'm thinking of you. I have nothing but good memories of Ken and yourself. Don't think I will be able to make it to Rotorua, heart failure has me sidelined at present, but I'll be there in sprit!

I have the best memories of a sincere and caring individual that was Ken Henderson. Always cheerful on the range and a great team member on our trip to Brasilia in 1996. Such a tragic loss. My thoughts with Ruth and the family. Very talented shooter in all facets of the sport.
