Kenneth COOPER Obituary
Passed away very peacefully at Burwood Hospital, on Friday, May 16, 2025, in his 88th year. Adored husband of Yvonne (nee Darby); cherished Dad and father-in-law to Steve and Yvonne, and Jenny and Jim; dearly loved Poppy to Marijke and Matthew, Maddie, and Lewis.
It was a fantastic journey Coop. You're now at peace - and free to roam the high-country, run with the horses and soar with the birds.
According to Ken's wishes, he has been cremated and a family gathering will be held in the near future. Messages may be sent to 12 Fulton Avenue, Merivale, Christchurch 8014. A heartfelt thanks from Ken's family to the teams of amazing caregivers at Summerset-on-Cavendish, Christchurch Hospital and Burwood Hospital.

To Yvonne and Family, my deepest condolences. Ken's passing has rekindled fond memories of our shared Market Days. A period of time in the Produce Industry when supplies of energy and enthusiasm; qualities like loyalty, integrity and industriousness made a person shine.. and Ken shone. I'll remember him with great respect.
