I am very sad to read of Keith's death. When I arrived in Hamburg back in 1971, his first wife and I were working in the same company, and she and Keith helped me so much to settle in. We lost contact for some years after Keith's return to NZ but latterly at least exchanged Christmas cards, so kept up-to-date that way. I shall miss him, even from across the world, and would like to express my sincere condolences to Karen and all the family. RIP Keith.

I'm still thinking in our concierts in Hamburg, Germany. It was always great to play together. Thank you for everything

Keith helped me restart my oboe playing and introduced me to the scene in Christchurch for which I will always be grateful. I always looked forward to performing with him. He had meticulous attention to detail about his playing technique and his instruments. His great love was the Baroque period. RIP Keith and condolences to his partner, family and friends.

Keith was a good friend and colleague in the CSO, Notturno, Da Capo and at the CSM for a number of years in the 90s. I enjoyed his musicianship and discussions, and I know how he will be missed by all who knew him. Sincere condolences to his family
