POLLOCK, Keith Murray:
On Thursday, December 22, 2022, suddenly walking in the Port Hills, doing what he loved with his boots on; aged 71 years. Dearly loved husband of Dorothy Brown, much loved father and father-in-law of Iain and Michelle (Canada), Alannah, and Lachlan, loved grandfather of Evelyn and Louise (Canada), loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Lorraine and Peter Burgers (Canada), Marvin and Maureen Pollock (Canada), the late Christine and Peter Miller, Evelyn Brown, Jocelyn and Peter Jaquiery, loved cousin, and uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Messages to the Pollock family, c/- PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. A Memorial Service for Keith will be held in the Stewart 1 lecture theatre, Lincoln University, Ellesmere Junction Road, Lincoln, on Tuesday, January 17, at 2.00pm. Parking available in the Orchard carpark, off Springs Road.

I am writing on behalf of the Department of Botany at the University of Otago to express our sorry at the news of Keith Pollock's death. Keith was a postgrad student in our Department working on Chionochloa in the 1970s and is remembered very fondly by his MSc supervisor Emeritus Professor Sir Alan Mark. Our sincere heartfelt condolences to Dorothy and family.
