McFARLANE, Keith William:
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 30, 2023, in Christchurch, aged 91 years young, surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved and devoted husband of Judith for 66 years, adored and respected father, father-in-law and friend of Barb and Eelco, Joss and David, and Nicky and Brent. Cherished grandfather and friend of Jerome and Courtney, Alexa and Martinus, Georgia and Charlie, Bridget and Leon, Ashleigh and Andy, Courtney and Steve, and great-grandfather of Xanthe, Felix and Ayden, Zion, Oakley, Evie, Max and Hugo. A passionate, proud patriarch of the McFarlane clan, an enthusiast of the outdoors, a competitive and successful bowler, a green fingered gardener, and a valued friend to many. Grateful thanks for the wonderful care received at Nurse Maude Hospice and the support of the caring community at Russley Village. In accordance with Keith's wishes, a private cremation has been held. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Keith McFarlane, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to Nurse Maude Hospice in Keith's name would be appreciated and may be made online at nursemaude.org.nz. A celebration of Keith's life will be held at the Burnside Bowling Club, 330 Avonhead Road, Avonhead, on Friday, May 12, at 10:45am.
