Keith was one of the nicest people I had the pleasure of knowing, always willing to give people his time, although always busy. He helped us when we moved in next door, checked up on us with how we were getting on. Showed interest in our future. Helped me when I first set up a company. The Christchurch community has suffered a great loss with his passing. As Keith always said there is hope for a better future.

Keith, when I heard of your passing, a Maori proverb came straight to my mind - Kua hinga te totara i Te Waonui-a-Tane - A Totara has fallen in the forest of Man.
Your passing is such a huge loss to so many.
You were a true gentleman who did so much for those around you and the Christchurch community. You had a heart of gold - always looking for ways you could help others. It was such a pleasure getting to know you over the last few years. I will always admire your strength and resilience. I will miss our coffees and catch-ups. I am so sorry I can't be there today, but I am thinking of you and your family.
Rest easy now.

Sending much love to Pat and Keith´s family. Keith did so much for his community over his life, but on a personal level it was his support to my beloved Robbie that I will always hold dear as my abiding memory of this wonderful, generous, big-hearted man. May he rest in peace.
