Kay BARRETT Obituary

On August 15, 2025, peacefully at Anthony Wilding Retirement Village, in her 95th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Robert, loved mother of Sue, John, and the late Pete, treasured Grandma of Nathan, Tom and Nicole; and Brittany, and great-grandmother of Harper. Special thanks to the wonderful, caring staff at Anthony Wilding. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Kay Barrett, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to the New Zealand Red Cross would be appreciated and may be made online at redcross.org.nz. The service to remember Kay and celebrate her life will be held in St Kentigern's Anglican Church, Kaituna Valley Road, Kaituna Valley, on Tuesday, August 26, at 1.30pm, followed by burial in the Churchyard.

Kay & your late Dad Bert were of the era where it was often much hard work and yet they were ok with that and very contented.
They knew if they did not do it, it was not going to happen and they could see the goals ahead that they wished to achieve, which they did.
Rest in peace Kay, you accomplished much and your family I am sure will always be proud of their heritage.
