Kathleen RANGER Obituary

Passed away after a short illness surrounded by her family and friends in Christchurch Hospital on August 17, 2025, aged 73. Dearly loved wife of John, cherished mother and mother-in-law of Grant and Georgina, and Donna and Boyd, adored nana of Te Aroha, Tahlia, and Tanaya, "Great-Nana Kaffa" of Mila, Indie, Kal-El, and Kai, loved daughter of the late Henry and Kathleen Foster, beloved sister and sister-in-law of Jimmy and May, Donald (dec) and Mary and Pat (dec), Arthur (dec) and Leslie, Rendall (dec) and Bev, Gary (dec) and Pam, Billy (dec) and Carol, Brent (dec) and Barbara, and the late Janet and Jackie Priest, and Natalie ad Johnny Blenkiron, a loved sister-in-law of Valmai and the late Bill Hunter, and the late Geoff &andMon, Errol and Ida, and Maurice and Jill, adored aunty of all her nieces and nephews, and an amazing friend of many. A Service to celebrate Kathleen's life will be held in the William Sampson Memorial Chapel, 134 Tainui Street, Greymouth, on Saturday at 1.00pm. Kathleen will then be laid to rest at the Ahaura Cemetery.
