Sabine McGILLIGAN Obituary

On Friday, January 9, 2026, passed away peacefully in Christchurch, aged 95 years. Adored wife of the the late Mark Costigan, and of the late of Brian McGilligan, cherished mother and mother-in-law of Chris Costigan (deceased) and Larena McGregor, Mary and Brent Ealam, Therese and Wayne Coleman, Barry and Michelle McGilligan, Bernadette Costigan and David Mitchell, and Mark Costigan. Treasured grandmother and great-grandmother of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Many thanks to the staff of the Alpine View Care Centre for their compassionate care of Sabine. Rest In Peace

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Gregory's Catholic Church, 26 Cotswold Avenue, Bishopdale, on Thursday, January 15, at 12:00pm, followed by interment at Belfast Cemetery.
