To the Hurst Family
I am the youngest sister of Pauline Dunbar nee White who has txt me the message of Karen Bun as I remember her from my childhood in Clinton.
She as the rest of your family were lively people to converse with and I am sure you will all miss her amazing personality.
I know from Pauline that she has lived with the debilitating effects of stroke(s), but throughout whenever Pauline had visited her she remained animated and bright great company.
It is my intention to attend the service for Bun this Saturday to represent our family as neither Kelvin or Beverley are able to be present and Pauline overseas.
I look forward to hearing the tributes to her life.
I am sure you will all have some wonderful memories which you will be sharing and that you will miss Karen.

I am so sad to hear of Karen's death and so sorry that I am unable to be at her funeral as I am overseas . We have been friends since we first met at Clinton school in what was then Std 5. She was a bright and intelligent person who throughout her years of ill health retained such a positive and thoughtful outlook on life she was an inspiration to visit.I will miss her very much. Pauline Dunbar.
