Karen FURNESS Obituary

FURNESS, Karen Anne - Died peacefully after a brave battle at Nurse Maude Hospice on January 6, 2013. Much loved wife of Robin, mother of Jonathan, and stepmother of Kristal, Brigit, and Mike. Nana of Rori-Lee. Much loved daughter of Averil and the late Pat Fox. Adored big sister of Robyn, sister-in-law of Grant, and cherished ''Aunty Ren'' of Lucy, and Ellie. The family would like to thank staff at Nurse Maude Hospice for their kind and gentle care of Karen and her family. Messages to the Furness family, c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. In lieu of flowers donations to St Vincent de Paul and Nurse Maude Hospice may be made at the Requiem Mass. A Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday January 9 at 10.30 a.m. at St Gregory's, Cotswold Avenue. A Prayer Vigil will be held at the Church on Tuesday January 8, at 7.00 p.m.

We have been through so much together, you have been a huge part of our lives, not only as team member but as our vocal coach, camp mother, organiser, boat and van driver, and source of so much fun.
