Karen COBURN Obituary

At Nurse Maude Hospice, Christchurch, on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Loving partner of Mark. Adored mother of Sarah and Kimberley. Treasured Nana of Ryan, Cameron, Elliot, and Henry. Much loved sister, aunty, mother-in-law, and friend to many. A heartfelt thanks to the wonderful Hospice team who gave her so much care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to be made toward the amazing work Nurse Maude do here at www.nursemaude.org.nz/donate Messages for the Coburn Family may be sent to 58 Coleridge Street, Sydenham, Christchurch 8023. A Memorial Celebration of Karen's life will be held at the Canterbury Chapel, corner of Linwood Avenue and Keighleys Road, Linwood, on Friday, September 5, at 10.00am.

I was so sorry to hear of Karen's passing, she was always so full of life & the corridors of the hospital echoed with her laughter & wherever she went mischief wasn't far behind.
I'm so sorry I can't attend her funeral, but I'll be thinking of her & you all.

As one of Kim´s friends, I got to know her mum Karen while I was in my teen years. I always remember her big heart, contagious laugh and kind smile. Rest in peace Karen.
