Karen CHRISTMAS Obituary
On August 23, 2016, at Christchurch Hospital Haematology Unit, with her loving husband at her side, aged 61 years. Loved daughter of Warren and Joyce Clemens, loved wife of Denis, loved mother of Nigel and Tyler, and loved sister of Renes. Denis would like to give special thanks to the medical team at Christchurch Hospital Haematology Unit for their care over the last 18 months. Messages may be addressed to The Family of Karen Christmas, c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. In lieu of flowers, donations to Christchurch Hospital Haematology Unit would be appreciated, and may be made at the service. A Celebration of Karen's life will be held in the Harewood Crematorium Chapel, entry from Wilkinsons Road only (off Gardiners Rd), Harewood, on Monday, August 29, at 11.30am.

I was sad to hear of Karen's passing. I knew her many years ago when she worked in Whitcoulls, Cashel St. I was the paymaster there and I always remember Karen as a happy, cheerful, pleasant, and contented person. She was one of those nice people who you were always happy to have around. I don't recall any nastiness ever being associated with Karen. RIP.

Karen,
You were so strong till the very end. The strength you had was amazing.
Nigel and I will hold onto those precious memories we had with you a fortnight ago, forever. Its breaks my heart that you were taken away from us way before your time. I will keep your memory alive and let your grandchildren know how wonderful their Kiwi Nana was.
I hope you're now at rest with your dear Dad. Happiness and Pease till eternity beautiful lady.
