BATES, Karen Margaret:
On Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Christchurch Hospital, aged 65 years. Loved daughter of the late Dick and Irene Bates. Loved cousin of Frances Smith (dec); Donald McGowan; Dale Buckendahl; and the Malony family. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Hoon Hay Village and Nurse Maude Hospital for their excellent care of Karen over the years. Messages to the Bates family, c/- PO Box 10335, Christchurch 8145. A private cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
