Dear Richard and Andrew,
I was a young teenagerwhen my uncle Robin bought your beautiful mum to meet the Rodgers family in Manurewa. I remember her looking so elegant and pretty, I so admired her.
Andy and I are so saddened at her passing and our thoughts and prayers are with you both and your families. Love shirley

To Karen's family and friends.
I fondly remember the times that we had when Karen decided to join the rowing clan at Christ's College. Her laughter was only surpassed by her fondness shown to the boys in her care. Her diligence in ensuring that the boys had the best opportunity available to them was always paramount and when there was sickness or injury, she was the first to volunteer for the trips to Timaru to seek medical advice.
Karen was always forthright in her view of the world, but she had a heart of gold that she shared with many many people. She touched the lives of so many people, both young and old, and she will be sorely missed.

Karen was a much loved member of the staff at Ashgrove School. She took the needs of the children well to heart but was always very professional in her duties. Karen had very real human qualities( the best there is) and we are so very sad that the world has lost her too soon.

So saddened to here this terrible news today. The most wonderful lady and always enjoyed our chats when she would pop in to see me when I worked in Ballantynes. Only saw her a couple of weeks ago.
Mum has always been so grateful to Karen for helping her get employment at FRI all those years ago. A wonderful friend to Mum and all of us Wraight's over the years. Karen will be so missed by many. Our deepest sympathy to all of her family.
Sending our love to you all

We are so sorry to hear today of Karen's death. We were just talking to her about a catch when we return from Australia, unfortunately after her service. We enjoyed our catch up occasionally in Christchurch. We are thinking of you all at this really sad time.
Kind regards from John Skevington and Jo Ruane.

Karen,
It seems unfair that you should leave us, so abruptly, so suddenly. You were such a kind, considerate, capable, fun-filled lady. We will never forget you.
I am sure that all of us that you have become aquainted with, are richer for having been in your presence.
Rest in Peace dear lady.

Here's to the laughs we had in the 'Star Room'. You now have a new group of angles to look after. Until we meet again.
