Peacefully at home in Kaikoura. Dearly loved wife of the late Colin Smith. Loving mother of Sandra and the late Arthur Yaxley, Cherry and John Adams, Angela, Roseann and Grant MacPherson, and the late Paul, Colin and Tom. Loved and loving grandmother and great-grandmother of her many grandchildren.
God looked down from heaven and saw your tired face. He saw you growing weary and did what he thought best. He put his arms around you and whispered "Come Home and Rest".
Messages to 14 Rakanui Rd, Peketa, Kaikoura 7374 or www.cloudybayfunerals.co.nz In lieu of flowers a donation to Kaikoura St John's Ambulance would be appreciated. Requiem Mass will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ludstone Road, Kaikoura, on Friday, April 8, at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation at the Cloudy Bay Crematorium. The service will be livestreamed and can be viewed on the Cloudy Bay Funeral website.

To all the Smith family - we are so sorry to learn of June's passing. What a treasure of a lady!
I have very fond memories of the many voluntary St John hours that June spent sitting all day at the netball courts for many years. Thinking of you all at this time.
