BAKER,
June Margaret (nee Steel):
June passed away peacefully, with family at her side, on June 22, 2021, at Avon Lifecare, aged 94. Loved daughter of the late Langdon and Elsie. Dearly loved wife of Reg, and of the late Peter McWilliam and Arthur Downie. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Paul and Serena, Anthony, Mary and David, and Annette and Gavin. Much loved Nana of Ky, Sarah, Cynan and Janice, Tasha, Zinnia, Sarah, Jess and Blain, Gareth and Karina, Nick and Nicky, and Great-Nana of Caspar, Cayden, Kade, Alexa, Sahra, Ky, Amelia, Connor, Finn, Madeleine and Thomas. A very special thank you to the wonderful staff at Avon Lifecare for their dedication and friendship. At June's request, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canterbury Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The service to celebrate June's life will be held at the Canterbury Crematorium Chapel, corner of Linwood Avenue and Keighleys Road, This Day (Saturday), at 12.30pm.
