Julie TURNBULL Obituary

On November 21, 2025, suddenly, at Christchurch Hospital, aged 79 years. Adored wife of Bryan Turnbull, and dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Belinda and Craig Bailey (Rangiora), and Duncan and Sarah Wright (Toowoomba). Narni to Emma and Lucy Bailey, and Jonathan and Matthew Wright. Treasured friend of Chris and Kathy Turnbull and family (Sydney), and Steve and Maria Turnbull and family (Timaru and Christchurch).

Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Julie Turnbull, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A service to celebrate Julie's life will be held at Oaklands, corner Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Wednesday, November 26, at 2.30pm. Please wear bright and cheerful attire. A social function in honour of Julz will be held at Diamond Harbour Bowling Club, 20a Purau Avenue, Diamond Harbour, from 4.30pm.

Julie was my chief bridesmaid 23rd January 1971. I knew Julie through tennis at Elmwood and enjoyed overnight stays at the Rountree´s on Strown Road. While not having contact with her for sometime I have happy memories of our times together. My condolences to Brian and families.
