Julie HUGGINS Obituary

On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 68 years. Much-adored mum of Angela, grandma of James, Sophie, Rebecca and Hamish, and mother-in-law of Peter. Much-loved aunty and great-aunty of Anthony, Julie and Paul, and Lance, Jaimie and Lily. Daughter of the late Henry and Dorothy Huggins, and sister to the late Paul. All finally reunited. Loved and adored friend and confidante of many. Your secrets are safe with her. At her request, Mum has been cremated privately. Messages may be addressed to 'The Huggins Family' C/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. Flowers welcome but if preferred a donation in Julies memory to St John's Ambulance may be made online www.stjohn.org.nz/support-us/donate A Memorial Service for Julie will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entrance from London or Whitmore Streets, Richmond Christchurch on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 10.00am.

Julie OMG you came into my life over 30 years ago When we first met we clicked and I knew we would have fun and be friends forever We threw apples so we could go to Fiji we made it. We had so much fun.We could always talk politics and were sure we could right the world. You were an awesome friend kind honest and always there I will miss our banter but mostly I will miss you
RIP my awesome friend we will meet again and hopefully kick our heels up once more Love you heaps till we meet again Annie xx

Julie, we shared so much together over the past 30+ years, we had lots of laughs and the look on your face each time i knocked was priceless, you loved me bossing you around and we got stuff done i just wish you were still around our time together was cut far too short - fly high my dear friend x
