Julie BARRON Obituary

Julie passed away peacefully at Nazareth House on November 5, 2025, aged 65 years, after a strong and courageous battle. Reunited now with her beloved parents, Des and Shirley Nuttall, and other special people who have passed before her. Cherished wife of Russell (Jinx); the most loving, caring and incredible Mum of Georgie, Jimmy, and Kate; mother-in-law of Coby; and devoted Nanny of James, and Joey. Adored sister, sister-in-law and aunty to many, and an amazing woman to everyone fortunate enough to have known her. The family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Nazareth House and Ward B6, Christchurch Hospital, for their wonderful care of Julie. Messages to the Barron family, c/- P O Box 10345, Christchurch 8145. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukaemia and Blood Cancer Foundation would be appreciated and may be made online at www.leukaemia.org.nz The service to celebrate Julie's life will be held in the Cashmere Club, 50 Colombo Street, on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 1.00pm. Private cremation thereafter. It was Julie's wish for it not to be a funeral, more her going away party and encourages you all to dress in colour.

Julie was creative, talented, generous, caring and always made us laugh.
