Judith BOYD Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Elmswood Hospital, on November 11, 2023, in her 90th year. Adored wife of Peter, and dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Hamish and Paula, Dougal and Helen, and Andrew and Yi-Ming. Much loved Granny of Alexandra, Tessa and Jack; Emily, William and Kate. Special thanks to the staff of Elmswood Hospital for their kindness and care of Judy. I was very lucky to meet Judy some nearly 30 years back when we were both adult students at uni. We shared classes and many conversations; serious and hilarious. My then, young son and I went to her house a few times. He loved the deer over the fence. And of course, we never went home without delicious blueberries! Judy was so supportive and funny and I know her family were the world to her. I always admired her determination to work through her degree and anything else she did. Thinking of her family at this time. A very special woman.
