Judith BENNY Obituary

Passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Princes Court Lifecare, Ashburton, aged 92 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Graeme (who passed away seven weeks earlier), loved mother and mother-in-law of Andrew and Jo, and a much loved Granny to Kate, Haig and Natalie. Thanks to the attentive staff of Princes Court, Ashburton, the wonderful Ellesmere Hospital and Leeston Medical Centre teams, and the caring Southbridge Community, whose faith and friendship she shared.

To the family ,I'm so sorry have just read about Judy. Had wonderful times remember her laugh. Judy helped me with the family tree on the Benny side

Dear Andrew, Jo, Kate, Haig and Natalie,
We send our kind and supportive thoughts. We have lots of lovely memories of Judy - she was a very kind neighbour and provided Tim with some of her bountiful preserving. When Tim employed a young Andrew to help him, he was accompanied by food from Judy. Judy was a lover of the outdoors - and happy to loan her tramping gear to beginners.
Judy was a hard worker - it was common to see her roaming the paddocks grubbing thistles.
We will miss you Judy .
