Passed suddenly, but peacefully at home, on Sunday, November 2, 2025; Aged 64 years. Loved daughter of the late Bill and Dawn Bates. Treasured sister and sister-in-law of John and the late Dianne. Loving aunty to Angela and Stacy, and great-aunty to Talena, Matt, Jake, Ariana and Rylee, Ella and Lachlan. A gathering to celebrate the life of Jude will be held at Abberley Park Hall, 15 Abberley Crescent, St Albans, Christchurch, from 2.00pm - 4.00pm, on Friday, November 21. Messages to the 'Bates Family', PO Box 26, Tarras 9347.

Jude was a very caring person..She had a hard shell, but a very soft centre. When I first met Jude, I wondered what the he'll I had come across, but as time came to pass, I learnt that Jude was a caring person. Loved her family - that ment alot to her.
She loved her cats, & had dreams that she wanted to come about when was going to retire next year. - however this was not mentioned to be. I will miss her. Jude had an amazing soul.

So very sorry that Jude didn´t get to fulfill all her wishes and dreams but I wish her peace now. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Jude and she will be missed and always remembered.
