Passed away peacefully at Allen Bryant Rest Home, Hokitika with loving family by her side on September 21, 2025, in her 97th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Thomas, deeply loved mum and mother-in-law of Malcolm and Julie, Charles (deceased) and Cecil, Ian (deceased) and Sue, Trevor and Lavinia, Keith and Lisa, and the late Harris, cherished Nana of Kylie; Sarah, Bridget, Lisa, James, and Rory; Jeffrey, and Daniel; Michael, Suliana, and Telesia; Bethney, and April, and Great-nana of 11, a loved member of the Stephen and Teasdale families, and a treasured friend of many. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Allen Bryant for their kindness. Messages to 11 Balance Street, Runanga 7803. A Funeral Service to celebrate Joy's life will be held in the William Sampson Memorial Chapel, Tainui Street, Greymouth, tomorrow (Wednesday), at 2.00pm, followed by cremation here on the Coast at the Westland Crematorium.
