(Joy) (nee Dickson):
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at Strathallan Healthcare. Aged 85. Loved wife of the late Allan. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Stephen and the late Doreen (Pareora), Christine and Ben Talman (Sydney), and Sandra and Neville Mulvihill (Geraldine). Loved Nana/Grandma of Sasha, and Benji Talman; Linda and Adam Thompson, Suzanne, and Patrick and Jemma Mulvihill. Loved great-grandma of Clara, and Maverick; Paige, and Annabelle. Messages for Joy's family may be posted to the Rainey Family, C/- 220 Mulvihill Rd, RD 21, Geraldine 7991. Due to COVID-19 and government regulations a private burial has taken place.

Joy was a beautiful and generous human being. When our mother became ill and entered care at McKenzie Healthcare Joy contacted me and asked if I thought Mum might like her to visit her. She asked what Mum was interested in and when I told her Mum's interests she replied I can do that. I know Mum loved her visits. She was a very special woman and our family was privileged to know her.

So sad to hear the news of Joy's death. Joy was the last of my mother's siblings & will be remembered for her wonderful garden and knowledge of plants.
