Joyce FRASER Obituary

On August 10, 2025, peacefully at home with Colin at her side, and surrounded by three generations of her family. Cherished wife of Colin for 67 wonderful years. Mother and mother-in-law of Jane and Paul, Sarah and Graeme. Much loved sparkling and magical grandmother of Emma, Sam, Lucy, Meg, and Kate, adopted grandmother of Sam, Janessa, and Paul, and great-grandmother to Georgia, William, Albert, and Isabelle. Joyce loved life and her home was filled with laughter, warmth, and music. She was a woman of style and grace. We will hold her in our hearts forever. The family are incredibly grateful to the carers, nurses, and doctors who took such good care of Mum, and to all the people who brought her joy. I would like to send my condolences to the family, especially colin.
I had the pleasure of meeting joyce a few months back as her support worker. I knew as soon as i met her that we were going to get on like a house on fire. Her quirky personality and her cheekyness had me in fits. Even when she was flipping me of i will miss my wednesday visits with joyce as she was the light of my mornings.

I lived 12 glorious years beside Joyce & Colin! Had many a laugh but enjoyed the "aging" journey with them! We shared jokes, talked about families, reminded them when to put rubbish out & which bin! For the first few years Joyce & I organised Xmas lunch for the whole street of 13 townhouses - what wonderful fun we had! Joyce´s favourite name for me was "picklepuss" whenever problems arose in my life! Lovely memories.
