ROCKHOUSE,Joy Margarette (Rocky):
On August 18, 2016, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Ray, Brian, Margaret and Danny, Terry and Cheryl, Neville and Tracey, and Anne. Loving Grandmother to her 19 grandchildren and her 27 great-grandchildren, and a very special friend to Wendy. Messages to the Rockhouse family,
c/- PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church 106 Main South Road, Sockburn, on Saturday, August 27, at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.

It was so nice to have one of Joy's sons speak at Neville's funeral. It brought back lovely memories spending time with Joy and Neville at the camp ground.
I always thought that it was quite adventurous of Joy to come up to HB and then all the way out to Aramoana.
I am truly sorry for your loss and her passing but know that she led a very full life and was such a joy to be around.
She is an indelible part of the history of Two Mac's camp and indeed Aramoana.
We were blessed to be graced with her if only for a few years.
