Joy JONES Obituary

Peacefully on April 18, 2024 at Bupa Retirement Village, Crofton Downs; aged 92 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Alan (Chris). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Jenny & Murray Mason (dec), Janet & Brian Seach, Angela & Charlie McCree. Much loved grandmother and great-grandmother of six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her service will be held in the Karori Main Chapel, Karori Cemetery, 15 Rosehaugh Avenue, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 2.30pm. A livestream link is available on the Gee and Hickton website for those unable to attend.

to Jenny, Janet, Angela and families. Cliff and I send our deepest sympathy.
Joy and Chris lived very happy and full lives. The love of life, of family, friends and gardening sustained and gave them huge satisfaction. Although sad that Joy has now died I feel sure she could never be happy without Chris.
May they both rest in peace. Sadly, Cliff and I were in Japan when Joy died and only found out yesterday. It did come as a shock.
