On January 28, 2024 at Radius Millstream, Ashburton. Beloved wife of the late Henry (deceased 2020). Much loved mother, grandmother and mother-in-law of Jane, Craig, Luke and Rohan. Rachel, Omar Imran and Prem. Simon, Nicola, Mikayla and Petra. Martin, Brenda, Dylan and Emma. Thank you to the staff at Radius and Dr Wootton. A service for Joy will be held at St Stephens Anglican Church, Park Street, Ashburton on Thursday, February 22, commencing at 2pm, followed by interment at Ashburton New Lawn Cemetery.

I was your first niece, you spoilt me! You would get home from work to find that Grandma had turned one of your dresses or petticoats into a dress for me!
I'll never forget the Sunday night suppers with lemon meringue pie.
Later on family photos with all 7 of us on the seesaw became a family tradition.
Later on when I had a family of my own we spent many hours on the phone having lots of laughs, and I was happy to receive your advice when it was given.
Thank you for your encouragement with my embroidery. Now you are with Uncle Henry.
