Joseph RYAN Obituary

RYAN, Joseph Michael (Joe) - On 9 August, 2014, peacefully at home with his family around him, aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband of Barbara, and loved father and father-in-law of Trish and John McKendry, Caroline and Chris Morrison, Peter and Sally Ryan, and Rachel Ryan and Ed Nepia. A much loved Grandad Jobey to Tyler and Jacob; Ella, Joe, Charlie and Cara; Daniel, Mathew and the late Joshua; and Stellar and Kahurangi. Dearly loved youngest son of the late William and Mary Ryan, loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Tom and Dorothy, the late Bill and Eileen, the late Patrick (killed in action Cassino, 1944), Margaret and the late Frank O'Connell, Jack and Devi, and the late Pat, and the late Barney and Aileen. A much loved Uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Messages to the Ryan Family, c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch, 8013. Flowers respectfully declined, donations to Nurse Maude Palliative Care would be appreciated and may be made at the Mass. A Requiem Mass for Joe will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church, 90 Greers Road, Burnside, This Day (Thursday), at 11.00am, thereafter to the Harewood Crematorium, corner of Johns Road and Wilkinsons Road.
