Goodbye Grandad, one of my earliest memories is you taking us to the movies to see Peter Pan. When I visited in 2018 with your great grand children it occurred to me you were a lot like Peter in that you never lost your childhood sense of fun! I'll always remember the fun and laughter at Sunday dinners. Your boy Luke

A man who lived and loved life, who cared for all and loved all. I am reminded of some of the lines in an Irish verse...
"Until we meet again,,,may God hold you in the palm of His hand"
Rest for now dear man.

Miss you Grandad, safe travels to the otherside.
You were an inspiration, a pillar of strength and a fountain of knowledge. Your hard work set the foundation for all our lives today. Your stories enthralled the boys, and your sense of humour was second to none. The lessons that you taught us will be passed on through many generations.
Rest in Peace,
From the Sheffield (UK) Daigneault's

My dad was always a a great inspiration to me. From a rebellious youth in a foreign land he would tackle task he had knowledge of and not only finish them but excel in the job. His work etiquette and his love of knowledge keep him succeeding in different areas of life. From a seaman, varies trades and into business dad succeeded in them all. Dads days in the hotel industry is where he shone the most. He had a true love of hospitality and a great connection to his patrons. Many a lost sole found a home and a heart with dad in the old British Hotel. He truly cared for all he nurtured. Dads values will live on in his kids and grandkids as I´m told many of his traits are easily recognizable in us all. He will be truly missed by many.
