Loved son of the late Joseph and Mary Ann Burdis, loved husband of the late Kathlene (Kit), and loved companion of the late Irene Forward, loved father and father-in-law of the late Rodney (UK), Joe and Glennis (Christchurch), and Sue and Doug (Te Aroha), loved granddad of Stacey, Katie, and Matthew (UK); Rod (Blenheim), Joanna (Oxford), and Jon (Blenheim); Tara (Auckland), Kane (Jakarta), and Daniel (Gordonton); loved great-granddad of 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
