Jonathan BARNES Obituary

On Monday, April 28, 2025, peacefully and surrounded by his family at Nurse Maude Hospice in Merivale, Christchurch, aged 68. Beloved husband of Karen for 49 years, much loved father and father-in-law of Sam, Adam and Raisa, Tim, and Alexandra, loved poppa of Sampo, Niilo, Toivo, and Stanley, loved brother and brother-in-law of Phil and Yvonne. Words cannot express our grief and the road ahead will be difficult without you to guide our way. Thanks to the staff at Nurse Maude Hospice and all those who assisted Jonty and our family in his final days. As per Jonty's request, there will be no formal funeral service. A private cremation has taken place.
