John Raymond (Ray):
Passed away after a long illness at Elmswood Hospital, Christchurch, on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, aged 92 years. Beloved husband of Doreen, much loved Dad
of Susie, Linda, John, and Steve, father-in-law of Richard, Cooke, Kirk, Mark, Julie, and Juan, Papa of 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Ray Withington,

will be held in the Harewood Crematorium Chapel, Wilkinsons Road, Harewood, Christchurch, on Saturday, September 3, at 2.00pm.

We have amazing memories of Raymond, always wanted me to talk when I had a mouthful of dentistry, Dorothy & I visited you several times at Gore Bay you were a great cousin enjoyed both of your company, covid stopped us having more contact with you. Our thoughts are with you all at this time

Stayed at Ray´s house in Fendalton in the August School holidays in 1967. Drove my Mum & Dad (Val and Bunt) from Invercargill to Auckland. From memory I believe Ray was getting to new flooring put in their house - cork tiles - the smell was not pleasant Rest In Peace Raymond.

So sorry to hear of Ray's passing, my parents were Val
and Bunt Withington. Although I didnt see a lot of Ray and Doreen my parents always spoke very highly of you both. My deepest sympathy to Doreen and all the extended family.
