On September 16, 2025, peacefully at Alpine View Care Centre, aged 94 years. Dearly loved husband of Claire, loved father and father-in-law of Hugh and Kerrie, Philip and Fukiko, Gerard and Suzie, Guy and Yayoi, loved Grandad of Mayuko and Shinobu, Nicholas and Monique, Anna, Lucy, Kate, and Jonny, Luke and Ivy.
