It is with great sadness to announce that John passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021, peacefully at home, aged 77, after a courageous battle with cancer. Loved husband of Jeanette. Loved father and father-in-law to Gary and Jo, Sharon and Tony. Loved brother to Pat, Brian (deceased), Kay, Eileen (deceased, Ann-Maree and Danny (deceased). Loved brother-in-law, Uncle, Grandad, and friend to many. A service will be held at the Northbrook Chapel, Spark Lane (off Northbrook Road), Rangiora, on Friday, January 7, at 11.00am, followed by a celebration of John's life at the Mandeville Taver, Kaiapoi.
