John WALSH Obituary

On October 6, 2025, passed away peacefully at Cashmere View Care Home, aged 74 years. Dearly beloved husband of Tilaga, loved brother and brother-in-law of Kerry and Norma, a loved uncle of his nieces and nephew-in-law, loved by all his relatives in New Zealand and Malaysia. Special thanks to all the management and staff of Cashmere View Care Home for their loving-kindness, thoughtfulness and care of John. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late John Walsh, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A private cremation has been held.

Sincere condolences to John´s family .. I had the pleasure of playing rugby with John over a number of years for the Lyttelton Rugby Club .. then while visiting a friend in Cashmere view I met John again ..We had a great time reminiscing about our rugby days .. R.I.P Johnny Walsh
