John TIFFIN Obituary

Known as Prof - died peacefully on Tuesday night October 10, 2023 surrounded by his family. Much loved husband of Margaret, adored father of Tsehai, Johnny, and Larisa and father-in-law of Mike, Nicky, and Al, proud Grandpa of James, Olivia, Micaela, Zara, and Ava, beloved brother of Paul and Wendy. A huge thank you to Dr Cheryl Tallon and the teams at the Methven Medical Centre, Ashburton Hospital and Access for their lovely care. A private service will be held on Monday. Sincere condolences to all the family from a member of the extended 'Wheatley' family in the UK.
John's mother Lotte Wheatley was (I believe) my Dad's aunt - his name is Terry Wheatley and he's in his late 80s now).
William Charles & Charlotte Wheatley being shared Grandparents / Great Grandparents on my father's side.
So sorry also to read about the loss of his Brother Paul Tiffin.

I only just found out that John has passed away and that he had married Margaret. He was the same age as my dad who also passed away in 2023.
He was a wonderful man and I am happy that I was able to visit him back in 2014.
