Passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026, aged 91 years. Loved and loving husband of Val. Dearly loved Dad and friend of Susan and Ken, Vicki and Mel, and Stu and Mary-Anne, and loved by Sue also. Much-loved Grandad of Robert and Sharna, Georgina and Kyle, Henry, Charles and Grace, John, Hamish, and Susannah; Tim, and Elizabeth; Dana and Ryan, Bree and Pasan, and Mia and Carlos. Loved Great-Grandad of Lila, Sully, Julia, and Olivia.

You have lost a wonderfull man in your lives, but all the memories of all the great times you have shared on the farm in Omihi, & family gatherings with John over the years, will live on for ever in your hearts.
