On Friday, July 4, 2025, passed away peacefully at home in Christchurch, surrounded by his loving family, aged 89 years. Dearly loved husband of Joy for 66 years. Much loved father and father-in-law Craig and Hong, Joanne and Bryan, Lynn and Geoff, Blair and Christine, Dale and Pippa. Adored grandfather of his fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late John Stuthridge, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. The funeral service for John will be held at Westpark, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Friday, July 11, at 2.00pm, followed by interment at Avonhead Memorial Park.

I am very sorry to hear your sad news, my condolences to you Joy and all the family. We had lots of special times together, birthdays at the Russley Hotel and your family looking after us when we lost our mum at an early age, looking back now your family was a very important part of our lives.
