John STUBBS Obituary
On February 5, 2024, peacefully after a brave battle, at Ashburton Hospital. Aged 86 years. Loved husband of Gloria, father and father- in-law of June and Andy, Dawn and Frank, and Carol and Bevan. Grandfather of Kelsi and Cameron, Hayley and Casey and Holly. Great- grandfather of Jake, Luca and Lyla. Loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Jean and Terry Lawton. Thank you to Ashburton Hospital and Rosebank for all John's care over the last ten weeks.
Finally at peace.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A celebration of John's life will be held at Rakaia Community Centre, Elizabeth Avenue, Rakaia, on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 11.00am. Messages to the family of the late John Stubbs, PO Box 472, Ashburton 7740.

Sincerest Sympathy to Gloria, the girls and their families. John was an important friend to my Dad ( Richard Tubman) when he bought his small farm, , on the North bank of the Rakaia in 1981. Ann Woodham
