SPIERS,
John William (J.W):
Of Maranoa Deer Farm, Takapau passed peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at Cranford Hospice, Hastings, on February 24, 2017. Aged 62 years. Much loved husband of Marie. Treasured and very proud Dad of Daniel and Sharnalee, the late Mark, Bridget and Ian, Katrina and Andrew. Amazing "Big G" to George, Hugo, Maggie and "Bump". Loved son of the late Ian and Shirley. Respected and loyal brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Our mentor, guide, confidante, biggest supporter and rock; the anchor of our family.
You will be remembered and loved forever - we will carry you in our hearts.
A celebration of John's life will be held at Oruawharo Homestead, 379 Oruawharo Rd, Takapau on Wednesday, March 1, at 12:30pm followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cranford Hospice and may be left at the service or online at
www.cranfordhospice.org.nz

My name is Bruce. I was Marks friend at primary.. here i am at 43 years old and cannot recall many days i never remembered my friend from when i was 12. My condolences to Johns passing, i have some memory of him and he was always a model human to me.

Maria & family We were all in total shock when we read about John's death. All my family's heartfelt sorrow goes out to you, all the way from Australia. We can't be there in person but please believe you & your family are very much in our thoughts.
