John RUSSELL Obituary

On July 11, 2024, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with failing health, aged 91 years. Much loved husband for 67 years of the late Joan. Loved father and father-in-law of Pete and Lynda, Martin and Joanne, loved Grandad of Jodine, and Hayley; Emma and Chris, and Sarah and Todd. Loved Great-Grandad of Luca; Quinn, and Billie. Loved brother of Janet O'Fee, and the late Brian Russell. Sincere thanks to Colin Waugh for being a wonderful, caring, and always responsive doctor to John over the last couple of years. A heartfelt thanks to all the awesome staff at Ngaio Marsh Village who looked after and cared for John. We would like to name you all personally, but there were just so many who helped look after John over the last two years - so thank you one and all. In accordance with John's wishes, a private family gathering has been held.
