John Patrick PUGH

John PUGH Obituary

Passed away at Grey Base Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends on November 3, 2024, aged 67. Loved and respected husband of Maureen, good mate, role model, dad and father-in-law of Shane and Lilly, Taye and Lisa, and the late Haley, beloved grandad of Sophie, Elai, Lydia, and Calum; and Hazel, and Ruby, loved great -grandad of Noah, and Yvaine, loved brother and brother-in-law of Maryann (deceased) and Michael, Michael and Sharon, Paul (deceased) and Maria, and Doreen and Pete, loved member of the Maskill and Briggs families, a loved uncle, cousin and great mate of many. The family would like to acknowledge the health care teams for the care and respect shown to John over the last few years and especially his last few days. Messages to Private Bag 614, Greymouth 7840. A private family service will be held in Turiwhate followed by cremation at the Westland Crematorium. Following the service, John's family invite you to join them at the 'aftermatch function' in the Greymouth Rodders' Clubrooms, Anzac Park, Greymouth on Saturday at 2.00pm.

Johnny and I were best of mates during our time at Kumara convent school. I always remember we were both into the cowboy culture and Johnny used to tell me how he would love to ride a horse to school like the old days .Precious childhood memories.
