John PLOWS Obituary

PLOWS, John:
On August 11, 2016, aged 70 years. Peacefully in his sleep, at home, Hurunui Jacks, the place he created and loved so much. Deeply loved soulmate and best friend to Maureen. Much loved and respected father of Toni and Chris, father-in-law of Theresa. Grandfather of Marie, Michael and Samantha, and great-grandfather of Brooke, TeRangi and Kobe. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ian, Rose and family. We are forever grateful to Hokitika District Nursing, the West Coast medical team, Mary Marr and the Hokitika community. The support and kindness has been overwhelming. A private cremation for John has been held. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial gathering to be held at Hurunui Jacks, 693 Lake Kaniere Road, Hokitika, on Wednesday, August 17, at 1.00pm.

PLOWS, John:
Plowsy, my best mate of nearly 60 years, we met at Dickies Stream, Belfast and spent your last days sitting at your lake. You touched the hearts of many fishing friends from all over the world, always went out of your way to be there for us. Hurunui Jack, you will be with us forever. All our love to Maureen and family.
