John PLATT Obituary
On Sunday, December 4, 2022, suddenly taken at home, aged 71 years. Much loved husband to Lynne, and father of Sarah and John. Cherished Grandfather to Zoe and Matthew. Fun, loving brother to Jean and Joyce, and a very treasured friend to many. We would like to thank the incredible paramedics and first responders for their amazing hard work and efforts. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart Foundation would be appreciated. Messages may be sent to the Platt Family, c/- PO Box 263, Kaiapoi 7644. A service to celebrate the life of John will be held at Harewood Memorial Gardens and Crematorium, Wilkinsons Road, on Friday, December 9, at 1.30pm.

John, always sad news to hear that an old friend has passed. We will always remember the good old days, BBQ's and beers at home with the Bluestar team. Time just fly's so fast old friend, Travel well.

RIP Uncle John. We didn't meet often but I still remember you coming to Laxey Cres before you emigrated. I also have fond memories when you visited and we met again at Gavin n Karen's. Wish I could have visited you in New Zealand!
