I am sorry to hear about John's death. I knew him through Prodrive when Ian and I were looking after the administration side. He became a good friend, and often popped in to see us when he was in Southland. He will be missed by so many people. Kind regards to you and your family.

I only knew John briefly. But he was a friendly lovely person. I got to know his musical side. Enjoying an impromptu musical "jam session" with him at my office where we played guitar together and may I add, he was quite a guitar player. My thoughts are with John's Family.

Dear Andrea & Family
We were very sorry to hear that John had passed away. I started my motor racing career with John at Wigram in the 1970's. I also did pro drive with him in Blenheim. Andrea and Tim.
Extremely saddened by the news of John's passing. We initially clashed, but grew to appreciate what we could achieve together. John became a friend and confidant as we struggled to get the Car Club' and motor racing back up and running as it should. John took on the promotion and sponsorship role and drove me along somewhat. Without his support I doubt we
would have been as successful. His advice was invaluable. Motorsport has lost a great competitor and contributor.
We have all lost a very good friend and I will miss him very much.

To my very dear friend John, it has been so many years and so many miles. I will never forget you buddy. I cannot be at your funeral. But to see you and talk with you before your death means so much to me. I understood you. Many people did not. We are so much alike in many ways. RIP.
