Much love to your lovely family. It was a pleasure to have known John over the many Tuesday mornings over the years. Hearing wonderful treasure pirate stories and I know you will all have wonderful memories and full hearts.

I will value always the interesting tales and stories John shared. If he didn't know the answer to something, then it wasn't worth knowing. No one will ever match his engineering knowledge. He always found a solution when there was none. His thinking outside the square made so much more possible. I enjoyed being able to share some stories and laughs with him until so near the end. Will miss you John and all your wise words. xx Condolences to all John's family.

Loved and respected brother-in-law of the late Murray and Jenny Rodgers, uncle of Hilary and Diana, uncle-in-law of Nuno and Phil, and great-uncle of Sam, Alex, Lily, and James. John will always be remembered for our shared adventures in Apple Tree Bay, and his sharp intellect, enormous knowledge vault, and his irrepressible energy and zest for life.

Rest easy Uncle John
