Passed away peacefully at Wairau Hospital with some family by his side. Much loved husband to Dawn. Father to Daryl, Bryan, Leayne and Sonia and the late Garry, Chris and Rex. Loved grandfather and great-grandfather to many.

A funeral service for John is to be held at 2.00pm on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Queen Charlotte Yacht Club, Shelly Beach, Picton. The service will be livestreamed and can be viewed on the Cloudy Bay Funeral Services website.
